We are Jayme and Melissa Arias. We started coming to LifeCare as we were expecting our baby. Our daughter was born November 25, 2010. The Birth of a Family Class has taken our marriage to a new level of confidence. The Class teaches us to have hope when all is not going so well, and how to appreciate life in every aspect. Our daughter has better parents who are more loving and caring now. We are thankful for everything LifeCare and Birth of a Family has given us and taught us. We have grown closer to God since coming to Life-

Care and Birth of a Family. We have more value toward life since Birth of a Family has taught us that. We see Life- Care as more than an economic help. They have been the step that we’ve pursued to have that relationship with our Lord and Creator/Savior, Jesus Christ. We thank those who give to LifeCare and Birth of a Family with their financial gifts. We can’t express with words, we can only give thanks with our actions in everyday living. When your loving gifts impact one life like me or my wife, God blesses your life even more. Thank you!

I am relatively new to LifeCare, but I have certainly gained a lot in my short time with the Program. To start, I will say I had inaccurate expectations when I joined the men’s Quest meeting. My initial motivation was to mostly earn the “daddy dollars” you acquire at the end of each class. When I got there, I was expecting to learn primarily about being a daddy. I was surprised to find that at the age of 19, I was significantly younger than the majority of the group. It was also surpris- ing to learn that the majority of the lesson was to find, what Al calls, “Authentic Manhood.” Wow! Was I in for a lesson!! I once was in the “dark” but now I am in the Light! My relationship with God has strengthened since being educated as to what being a “man means to God.” My body was created in His Image and was crafted to fit the roll of a man as well as fill the needs of a woman. How harmoniously the two work together!! I would like to thank all the men in my Quest Group. Sharing their ex- periences in life has and will make my life a little better every day. I want to thank Al for his willingness and in- tentional sharing the lesson as the “leader.” Thanks to Eric for his rational speaking in relation to the lesson and all the other amazing men in my group. They taught me lessons they have learned through their years. Thank you to all of you who so sacrificially give to LifeCare. I am one who is very grateful and who, without you, would not have the benefit of these amazing men in my life!
