Christ Centered Housing Ministry for Single Moms/Children

plans to give you the future you hope for.” Jeremiah 29:11

LifeCare has had a need and a vision for many years to open a Christ-centered maternity and housing ministry for single moms and their children: “Haven of Hope, Where Love Takes You In, and New Life Begins!” God specifically planted this assignment in my heart in 2006 while furthering my education and used this dream to lead and call me to this position at LifeCare. Over the past 5 years, as I have been praying for God’s plan and provision for Haven of Hope, the Lord led me to Luke chapter 9, where He miraculously provided for the needs of the people that were coming to Jesus. The disciples wanted to send the people away for food and lodging but Jesus said, “YOU feed them, YOU take care of them!” The disciples were focused on their lack of resources instead of focusing on God’s power to provide.

God is sending many women and children to us who are in need of not only physical food and shelter, but more importantly, spiritual food that will fill their souls and change their lives. It breaks our hearts when we have to send women and children away who are in need because we aren’t able to provide for their care, when God is calling us— His Church, the body of Christ, to care for them and lead them into a personal relationship with Christ.

We are asking our community leaders, pastors, churches and supporters to join us in faith as we pray and believe God for the funding to purchase this home very soon. We invite our community to partner with us in prayer and resources as together we offer hope and a brighter future to at risk single moms and their children.
