Sometimes I’ve found myself in an intense situation or season of life that seems to scream for God’s life giving words.  So often we glide along like an ice skater on a smooth pond of ice, or we stay refreshed with water on a backpacking excursion, but then we hit something rough on the ice or we run out of water.  Then comes that need for cleaning off the ice or supplying our need for water.

LifeCare’s “Earn While You Learn” program has been so helpful for me in my life.  I have been coming for a long time.  I have a six year old and six month old.  I have learned a lot of positive parenting skills on the videos and also getting help with emotional healing from all the materials, workbooks and worksheets.  Thank you LifeCare for everything you all have taught me and done for me.

In my bible there are some study guides by Max Lucado.  I read this one the other day and thought it would be good to share.  The scripture reading was Matthew 18:23—35. (NCV)

Do you have a hole in your heart?  Perhaps the wound is old…and you’re angry.  Or perhaps the wound is fresh…and you’re hurt.
Part of you is broken, and the other part is bitter.  Part of you wants to cry, and part of you wants to fight. The tears you cry are hot because they come from your heart.
